Verifying an account in four steps
This takes under a minute and works for any creator, on any platform.
- Always start from the source, never from a search result. Open the known official room, then look at the links it contains. A legitimate secondary account is almost always announced from the main page — that direction of travel is the only one that proves anything.
- Check reciprocity. A genuine account usually links back to the main room, and the main room links to it. A link that only works one way is weak evidence; a link that works in neither direction is worth nothing.
- Look at age and consistency. A recently created profile with no history, recycling public photos and immediately pushing a paid offer, is almost always a clone. A real account leaves traces: posts spread over time, interactions, mistakes, life.
